I’ve been suffering from GERD and I thought peppermint tea would soothe,
but it actually can cause acid reflux. It relaxes the esophageal sphincture
and allows excess stomach acid to swoop up the esophagus. Just thought I
would share in case someone with GERD watches your video. Peppermint is
good for gas and indigestion but not for acid reflux.

The tea you made from dried ginger is also very good for soothing aching
joints from arthritis. (For this purpose, drink it on an empty stomach for
best results.) For upset stomach I also like to keep papaya tablets in my
purse. Just chew on 2 of them and in 20 minutes or less, my stomach has
settled down. They can be purchased at any health food store or in
the health food section at most grocery stores. They are made from
dehydrated papaya that’s ground & then pressed into tablets, no other
ingredients.

Thanks for the great tips. I’ve had great success with herbal remedies and
it’s always nice to learn more. Could you do one on arthritis remedies?
I’d love to lessen my dependance on NSAIDS.
