Shekar Narayanan, M.D., colorectal specialist in Indianapolis, performs a live colonoscopy screening procedure on patient Tami Schwenk. Tami has a family history of colon cancer so at age 50 she decided that a colonoscopy was the right thing to do. Twenty percent of colon cancer is inherited or associated with a strong history of colon cancer in the family.
